Exercise strengthens all of the muscles in our body. Our hearts are no different. Exercise improves mood and reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, helps control body weight, and reduces inflammation. Exercising for 30 minutes or more regularly can help you lower your risk for heart disease. Talk to your doctor about light to moderate exercise activities that can fit into your heart care program.
